Anyone else feel like now thats its their time people who you expected more from cant be bothered, becuase they have been there done that.

And has anyone noticed themselves becoming bitter as you get older?

Stacey then dont feel bad, remind her that when you moved you didnt get gifts either and the shower is not abt gifts and about people celebrating your to be union together tell her to get over it

Thanks Wacky! That is exactly what I did say!

There is a lot more to the story and I will get into detail at another time, but but she needs to realize that being a bridesmaid involves a lot more than just wearing a dress. You have to be at least a little bit happy and excited for your friend.

Girls - SOMETIMES I WISH I NEVER HAD A BRIDAL PARTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is something I have been dealing with for sometime. The hurt and anger that I have experienced with my Bridal Party is something I will never forget. My FH is livid because he knows what I have done for all these girls!

I have been in 8 bridal parties so far in my life. 3 of them are BM my wedding party. They have done jack sh*t for me. My sister, who is my matron of honor is one of them. I bent over backwards for each of them, made their day special, planned their showers, planned their bachlorette parties. The whole 9 yards.

Can I tell you that my 2 sisters haven't even gotten their dresses fixed yet or gotten their shoes. One of my BM hasn't even picked up her dress yet nevermind shoes, my FH nieces who are Junior Bridesmaids haven't even picked up their dresses yet or shoes. Only 2 of my 8 girls have everything in tow. I am getting married in 5 WEEKS!

But you know, I don't give a crap anymore. It is what it is and after this things will change for me.

I even heard through the grapevine that after my shower certain BM were complaining about giving money into the shower and for my gift.

One of my future SIL even told my FH that this wedding is costing me a fortune! If you only knew how much I spent on those kids for their birthday, Christmas, communions. How dare you say that to someone.

My BP is so absorbed in themselves, their husbands, children or boyfriends. If I knew now what I didn't know then, I wouldn't have had a BP.
