Ok, I need your help ladies. My mom is looking for her dress for our wedding but has no idea where to even begin. She isn't the type for anything tight or to form fitting. She is self conscious. Can anyone give me websites to get ideas? Thanks!

I started with an internet search. In the search box of Yahoo, I put in mother of the bride gowns. From there, lots of sites popped up and began my search. After I searched throught the sites and designers, I had an idea of what I was looking for. The only thing that I knew for sure was that I wanted the color eggplant. I'm very short and didn't want anything clingling or tight, it made it hard to chose for my body type.
However, I did not get my gowns in a bridal store or from a designer. I had both my children get married, 3 months of eachother so I had a limited budget. I wanted to look stunning at on a low cost.
I found my July gown in JC Penny's. It was what I was looking for and for being in July. The orginial price of the gown was $179 and it had so many sales on it that the total cost was $72.00.
My other gown was for October and knowing the eggplant color was fitting right in with my daughters fall themed wedding, I started my search all over again. I just happened to be in Catherines in Patchogue and again, they had the perfect gown. This gown was orginially $299, again, after sales and discounts, the final cost was $30.00.

On the top, there is 'my wedding'. Click on that. After the page opens, still on the top, under my wedding, you'll see 'photo album'. I have 2 albums posted.
