MOB dress help!

I feel terrible because I brought my mother out today to look for her gown. After a long day of searching we went to a store specializing in plus size gowns. She tries one on she LOVES. When we looked at the tag $1100!! It was more than my dress. I am trying to search all over the internet for this dress (they take the labels off and put the name of their store on them) but I can't find it. I don't know what to do.

That stinks. Did you ask if the store ever has any coupons or runs any sales? Ask for their rock bottom price and if there are any discounts they can give you. If they can't do anything and she doesn't want to spend the money then I think should should be supportive and help her keep looking. I am sure she can find something within her budget that she loves just as much.

Take her to Totally You in Bellmore. They have dresses in every size to try on in varying price ranges. They also had the best prices around. I didn't love the women in there but they really have a great selection of MOB dresses.

We asked if they could do better and wiman said absolutely not. She clearly knew my mom fell in love with it. It was clearly over priced and I feel if I just find out the designer I could get it cheaper.

THIS! My mother got her dress there. The woman helping us wasn't much help, but to be fair, I kind of just took everything into my own hands lol. My mom LOVES her dress and it wasn't too bad price wise (I think like $400? Don't quote me though!)

Can someone at the store tell you the name of the designer? They have to have a record of it somewhere for ordering purposes. If not, maybe try looking at other stores for something she'll love just as much. My mom looked in Queen of Hearts in Merrick I believe, which specializes in plus size as well. She ultimately found her dress in Bridal Reflections though, they carry samples in lots of different sizes.

THIS!!! My mother is having such a hard time finding a dress. I'm stressed out because she is so particular about what she wants, won't try on anything she doesn't like on the hanger (nothing looks good on a hanger) and when I am finally off from work next week, she's going on yet another vacation. (My parents are retired and god bless them but they just came home two weeks ago from 2.5 months in Key West) I have so much to do and I'm freaking that my mother won't find something she's comfortable and feels beautiful in in less than 3 months. Ugh

They take the labels off the dresses and put their own on; I hate that!!! I am so stressed too; the dress was everything she wanted. I know if I were to find out the designer I could get it cheaper some place else; I feel like plus sized girls get taken advantage of because they know there are only a select few places they could try on gowns.

I have been searching for hours trying to find this dress. It was chiffon, off the shoulder with a sleeve up to the elbow (tiered chiffon on the sleeve so it wasn't tight). I had a row of rhinestones going around the entire off the shoulder portion of the dress. It also had the same tiered look on the bottom of the dress. If anyone sees something like this please let me know.

It doesn't sound that unusual. I would just keep searching online for evening dresses and formal dresses, not just MOB
