We had dinner with FIL'S tonight. FH mother said she wants to wear a black dress for the wedding. She told FH that its elegant and she could dress it up with silver jewlrey. I'm having my girls in a marron/wine color. Should I have my mom in the same color as the girls or should she be in black also.

I think your mom can be in any color she wants, except white of course! My mom is wearing black to my wedding, but it's a very unique dress and it stands out. My girls are wearing champagne.

my girls are going to be in lavendar so my mom wants to wear a shade or 2 darker
