Mom Got Her Dress!!*NOW W/PICS*

My mom and I went looking for dresses about a week or two ago and I found one for her that I absolutely loved. She tried it on and really liked it too, but wasn't quite sure about it because it's not like anything she's ever owned.(which is why I loved it)
I felt like she should have something that made her stand out as MOB and not just a lady in a pretty dress.

Well, we went to a store today, and they had the dress! Which was crazy b/c we thought it was an exclusive to the store we originally saw it at...
anyway... they had ONE left in the color she liked, and it was HER SIZE!
She tried it on and showed my dad who was with us and the sales lady and 2 cute little boys that were waiting for their mom all said they loved it.

So... she bought it!
and get this... it was HALF the price it was at the other store, plus we got a 20% discount on top of that! It was like the deal of the century.

I know you and I had talked about this a few weeks ago and my mom said they both had a lot of great dresses that fit the style we were both looking at for our mom's... plus they are both having amazing sales!

My mom bought a gown at macy's the other day that was originally $360 for $37.50
She didn't know if she was going to wear it to my wedding or not, but we have so many weddings in our family this coming year that she had to get it.
She said they had a TON more on sale like that too.

You still have plenty of time for your mom to find one, no worries!
With less than three months to go i was starting to worry b/c she hadn't even picked a color and my FMIL 'doesn't 'DO' off the rack'

so she needed time to order hers.

i'm so happy for my mom, this was a really hard search for her since she's gained a lot of weight due to medical issues this past year.

woah thats awesome!! macy's definately has great deals sometimes..i got a dress for the cruise i went on in 2006 (its the white one in my album...engagement) and it rang up as $9.99!!!!! no joke! i was sooo thrilled!!!

i went there for my outfits for my E-Pics and got the cutest dress for $12.99!! it was crazy! the tag said over $60(can't remember right now) and i was kind of going back and forth and decided, ehhhh...why not? and it was on sale! i almost died lol and then i didn't wear it for my E-pics

They had some really cute flowergirl type dresses when I was there today, and the sales people were talking to a bride who was there and said that closer to Easter they get a ton more in too and usually go on sale right afterwards.(they also get more around communion season which is right around your wedding)
Easter is really early this year, so it might work out really well for you. I mean, I'm not sure how long you'd want to wait but it might be worth it.

lol I did the same thing..the dress i was just talking about was marked 80 something..so i wasn't even planning on getting it..but then i said what the heck..and then i found out it was $9.99..i thought i misheard the women too!

thats great...i have to admit i am not looking forward to going with my mother to look...i feel like she is going to be more difficult to find a dress for her than it was to find mine where did your mother get hers? and congrats as well!
