I have been looking high and low for them (in brick and mortars, not online) to take with us on our trip, and I could only find *one* option in Toys R Us. I was shocked by this!
Not a big deal...but, it's just one of those toys from our childhood that our kids just won't have an appreciation for So sad that kids require so many more 'bells and whistles' than we needed.

My MIL bought them recently for my kids. Let me ask her where she bought them. It was funny because when she opened the box...we all gathered around to play with them and my kids had no idea what they were. They do love them now though.

i loved, loved, loved colorforms!!!!!! it would be a shame to see them go! so many things that we enjoyed are practically gone - paperdolls, shrinky-dinks . . .

I did buy some for Justin for Chrstmas, and I finally found them in Target
OMG I loved Colorforms and Shrinky Dinks...and remember those crystals that used to melt in the oven and then you stuck them on your door or window with a suction cup? LOL I know that sounded weird but they were in shapes, like a rainbow, a bird, Santa, etc...?

I saw Wiggles colorforms at the Michaels on Hempstead Turnpike the other day. I was thinking of getting them for Luke but I thought he might be too young. Does Paul like the Wiggles? I can get them for you if you want.

Liz, he LOVES the Wiggles...if they are on TV and I walk into the room, it's as if I'm not even there!

I saw colorforms in ToysRus a few months ago, and I remember having that 'whatever happened to the good ol toys' look on my face too The little simple toys are not appreciated as much any more!
I cant beleive how popular the Wiggles have become! Their concert tickets were sooo expensive. Werent they in the $200 range???

Yes they were pretty damn expensive. So is Dora the Explorer. It's so not fair especially since their fan base are 6 & under.

WoW $200??? I guess we're never going. I wouldnt go even if they were cheaper unless I got really good seats. Why would someone want to sit in the mezzanine 12 rows back with a kid anyway?
Luke & I both love the Wiggles! We sing all the songs and he says alot of the Wiggle stuff, one day I showed him the CD box and he stunned me and just said 'Dorothy', clear as a bell (not just Mommy language where I'm the only one who knows that he's saying)

Sorry, I'm not a Mommy but I work with little kids in early intervention. I have found colorforms in Marshalls/TJMaxx and they make these great magnetic boards now. There is the cutest little toy shop near me in Wantagh that carrys just about every magnetic board around (i.e. trucks, around town, dinosaurs, farm, etc.).

Those are the things that stick on to the little cardboard,right? I think you will see one or two in Eckard in their toy section.
