It is almost 1 year now since my mom passed away. It IS one year since she was diagnosed with cancer.

When she was in the hospital I told her FH and I were finally going to get married and that she needed to stay alive to celebrate it with us. She rolled her eyes and told me she'd be there no matter what anyway.

I just miss her like crazy. I can't tell you how wonderful she was... she was friendly and insightful and hilarious. She was the mom that all of my friends loved and wanted to be around.

I would give almost anything to sit on my deck and chat with her over a cup of coffee ... or a beer.

She just had a way of making life seem easier.

Believe it or not she is with you every single day and will definitely be with you on your wedding day. Never stop talking to her because she is still listening so don't be lonely just look up and know she is right next to you.

Im so sorry about your mom...my mother-in-law passed away from cancer 4 years ago and every year on the anniversary of her passing we all get together and celebrate her life...who she was and how she influenced our lives...there is no feeling like losing your mother...you are a very strong woman for sticking through such a tremendous loss.
