Mom's Birthday - NWR, but I need help. X-post
It's my mom's 60th this August, and we can't find an appropriate place. We have 70 people and a food budget of about $800. That's total, after taxes, not counting drinks. We'll probably go with a local upscale deli. Nice, but not excessively formal - better than a burgers-and-dogs family bbq.
The whole budget is $1500. We were thinking of a park, beach, or someplace with a pavilion-type setup.
So: outdoors, within 20 minutes of Riverhead, at least partially covered, site fee of $200 or less including parking, flexible in terms of vendors.
We've already got Indian Island, the Flanders Mens Club, and the Moose lodge pavilion. What am I overlooking?
