Thanks to FDNYBRIDE for giving me the BOTW title for this week.. I'm hoping I can do a good job....There have been so many great questions asked so excuse me if this question was already asked in previous weeks, but, I don't recall seeing it before.
What's one thing about your FH physically that is different from previous men you dated or something that stands out from your FH that is a change from other men you have dated?
If there isn't anything different that you can think of, do you know if he found something different in you than the usual girls he was interested in?
Before FH, I never dated anyone with light eyes or lighter hair. It just 'wasn't my type' and wasn't drawn towards men with blue eyes. Now, I'm glad that we started talking for obvious reasons not to mention he has some awesome blue eyes. I tell him this all the time because I think it's funny. FH is a great guy and had I been stingy with who I was talking to or opening up to, I would have never found my soulmate.

I guess I've mostly dated guys that were only a couple of inches taller than me.... At 6'3', FH is a solid foot taller than me! But I didn't really date seriously before FH so I can't say I really had a 'type.'

FH is Latin. His family all came here from other countries. So he's dark and exotic and I love it! :)

I used to only like guys that had blue or green eyes or had something interesting about them culturally but FH has brown eyes and is as American as it gets!!! I still love him!!

definitely the height factor. I would say he is about 9-10' taller than other guys I have dated.
ETA: also, tattoos and piercings. FH doesn't have any and other guys I have dated had one or the other or both.

FH is so different than other guys I've dated I use to go for the outright sensitive guys but FH is different he has his sensitive side but doesn't show it everywhere. He comes off tough and intimidating to others but I saw something different in him he is a closet romantic! He treats me different than anyone ever has!
He's got a tattoo like me and he is big and muscular and played semi-pro football and could have gone into the pros but chose having a healthy life (with me) and being able to play with kids when we have them and not have broken or aching bones for rest of life lol

My FH has a nice buff bod; for some reason alotta exs were kinda puny haha but I love his big shoulders! I've never really been turned on by a guys physical appearance until I met him. Also, he's about 4 1/2 yrs older than me which is diff for me..and I feel has been a plus in our relationship. (I joke that you should add 5 to your age for your maturity level and subtract 5 from the guys age for his maturity...so we equal out! lol)
I know this isn't a physical trait but I've also never laughed so hard in my life as I do with my FH. Everyday he makes me laugh & I'm able to 100% be myself around him.

I think being able to laugh with your FH is the best!! my FH makes me laugh so much too!

He's younger than I am which I never did before and he's short for a guy and he's thinner than most of the guys I have dated before. Immediately he felt like a friend and never had that feeling upon first meeting a man before dating him and I love his personality. We really clicked with our sense of humor and backgrounds. I am glad I didn't get so caught up in type that I would have let my soul mate pass me by. I'm older, shorter than his typical dates, and I'm the first girl he date that is African American. I think sometimes we are so stuck in our types that we can really miss the great person right in front of us.
