as some of you may know my FH is making our wedding montage to be played at the reception - he's made a ton of them in the past for DJ clients and they are all pretty standard - so FH wants to do something totally different for ours - 'something that has never been seen before' (whatever that means! scares me a little ) basically he wants to do something totally different - i have suspicion that he is using video snippets, and he wants to go very untraditional with the music selection - he said he already has a song for my pictures, and lots of ideas for our song but he can't think of anything for when his photos play - this is where LIW comes in any ideas of different songs that can relate to growing up pictures of a guy? any kind of music - but i think he is looking for ideas that are more upbeat and fast......we couldnt think of anything last night - so i thought some of you might have some good ideas that can at least point us in some different directions....

for our baby pics i did something a bit different...instead of a song that describes us personally what i did was find a song for his baby pics that would be like a song from me and for my baby pics a song that would be from him to me.
for example i used 'today i met the boy im going to marry' for his song so its a female singing and says kinda how i feel about him...for my baby pics i used the song 'denise' some of the lyrics go like this' im in love with you denise' just to get an idea, so its kinda like the song is from him to me and vice versa.
Not sure if you want to do that nicole but maybe you can find a song by a female artist that would be a song from you to him

we are doing one montage of FH and I - its my baby pics, his baby pics, then us together
then later on in the night during dinner we are doing a friends and family montage - pics of us with our family and friends
during dance with my dad im going to have a little slideshow repeat on the TV - not sure if we are doing that for FH's dance with his mom - i wanted that to be something special for just my dad and i....when FH and I dance the DJ might use pics of us from the wedding on the screen - like pics of us that day...
and before cake and the VH the DJ is doing a ceremony re-cap - similair to what denise had from pennylane - except our DJ does it, not a videographer - its a quick recap of the ceremony to music and then us saying part of our vows...
wait youre having your dj photographer take pics at the ceremony? or is just video?

see that is a good idea - because *i think* that FH is using the JT song My Love for my growing up pics (and its like he is singing to the girl a.k.a. ME ) - so that is a really good idea - i know my FH, i almost positive that is the song he is using for me i could tell by his reaction when we talked about the songs and i guessed that one!

we did his pictures to eye of the tiger. for each beat in the begining we did some fun stuff with the pictures...

i did the song 'denise' by randy and the rainbows...i figured it was the perfect song to use

he used to use adobe premier (i think) but im not sure if he still uses that program - i am computer illiterate when it comes to that stuff
