Montauk Wedding Cost

Does anyone know the approximate cost of weddings in montauk? I'm thinking Gurney's or Montauk Yacht Club but don't know if it will be in the realm of possibilities budget wise. Looking to have about 100 people in early May. Any feedback is appreciated!!

Re: Montauk Wedding Cost

I looked there in 2008 before we decided to not get married for a while. Back then I was quoted $165 ++ for a Saturday. I'm not sure how much prices have gone up in the past few years, but I'm sure they have. HTH a little!

Edited- this is for Gurneys, I didn't look at the yacht club

lol this is right. We wanted to get married in Montauk, it's our favorite place and also where we got engaged. We were looking at having about 150-175 people and Gurneys and MYC were are only 2 options really. MYC was actually a tight squeeze. Gurney's for a Saturday night in September was $159pp + tax and gratuities so probably more like $200pp. We really loved the view, the updated ballroom and obviously the outdoor ceremony, I feel that you're paying for the ocean there, the rest of the hotel except the spa is completely outdated and they wanted $400 per night for my guests and a 2 night minimum...we did not want to do that.

MYC is gorgeous loved everything about it, IF we were having a smaller wedding like around 100 this would be perfect. They are willing to work with you on price and customize a package but again the rooms are ridiculously expensive for your guests..maybe in May before mem day it will be a little cheaper, but overall the place is absolutely gorgeous BUT not on the ocean...we felt if we're paying that much we should be on the ocean in Montauk.

We drove home talking about how another new hotel for weddings on the beach out there would be a GOLD MINE!

If you want anymore info let me know!!

Re: Montauk Wedding Cost

I went to a wedding at The Crow's Nest in Montauk a few years back....Everything was outdoors...I know they were nowhere near the price of Gurneys and MYC. I have to say, it was probably one of the best if not THE best weddings I ever atteneded!

Re: Montauk Wedding Cost

Thanks for the input ladies. I just love Montauk...can't wait to go out there and scope out venues:)

I'll definitely check out Crow's Nest. I heard that it was completely remodeled last year.

Yeah, the guest rooms definitely need a redo, I'm glad to hear they remodeled! As I said, it was a great wedding, food was really good! Definitely check it out.
