Re: Moosey911-what was the final dress decision?

Still deciding........by an OVERWHELMING majority #1 was the winner.......but, I really love the lighter material on the bottom of #2----I think it will sit better in the sand (beach ceremony)---though the train will obviously be much longer, also---so it's still a toss-up!!

I think a lot of the vote may have been decided because the pics from dress #2 weren't as clear as #1.......but I'm really still not sure Plus, the dress didn't fit the right way b/c it was too big (might have helped if the zipper wasn't broken)---so the pics didn't look nearly as flattering as the first pics did.

So, still trying to decide---will let ya'll know as soon as I know

Re: Moosey911-what was the final dress decision?

THe reason I posted rather than FM's this is because I think that your point is valid -- people noted that #1 looked so great on, but (and here I was curious about consensus opinion), the beading on number one seems like almost too much with how pretty your face looked and amazing hair while on a beach setting. Simplicity with the dress allows the focus to be on you. I hope that read the way I am trying to say it.

Re: Moosey911-what was the final dress decision?

I definitely agree with you.....I am ALL about simplicity. BUT, Mom wants me to really 'be a girl' for one day in my life (since I am practically in uniform 24-7) and she feels that the beading and flowy material (organza) is more feminine. I feel like it's very important for me to feel absolutely beautiful on my wedding day, but I still want to feel like myself ---and myself = simple......

I will probably make another appointment and try them both on again in order to make the final decision. This time I won't bring Mom, that way I can make the decision without her complimenting me in one thousand different ways!!

Thanks again for all your support and honesty---this board is SO amazing!! I love the fact that I can come on here (mostly anonymously) and get real and truthful opinions!!!
