i do love the way strappy shoes look with the tea length dresses. now do i ask my girls to purchase a certain type? i dont wanna sound bridezilla-ish. i dont know what to do.

i felt the same way as u and what i did was i found two pairs of shoes for good prices and both the styles i wanted but at least they got a choice

show them a picture of what you like and ask them to get something similar or just pick out a pair of dyables that will go with the dress!

Honestly, my girls are wearing long dresses so I told them I don't care if they get open toe/closed toe. The choice is theirs b/c no one will see them.
If they were wearing tea length dresses, than I would tell them they ALL have to wear either closed toe or open toe and if you want, you can have a say in that. I would not think it is bridezillaish b/c people are going to see their shoes with that style of dress.

If you don't want to be too bridezilla (and want you cosest friends to have happy feet at your wedding), you can just ask them to buy strappy shoes in whatever color you think will look best with their dresses. My girls all wore different silver shoes with their cocktail-length dresses and even though everyone's shoes were different, I think it looked great (plus they were all comfortable!)

i had my girls where whatever shoe they wanted. The only things i requested was the it was sandal or open toe and they had to be dyed the same color as the dress. Some got the same and others got different ones.
The only reason why i didnt tell them what shoe to get is that I have horrible feet
long and skinny and shoes are a HUGE problem with me
I wanted my BMs to be comfortable. It worked out great here is a pic it is in B/W

You definitely can ask them to buy a certain pair of shoes. I didn't because my BMs dresses are long.

As MOH in my sisters wedding, she made me decide on the shoe and relay the message to the rest of the girls! It actually worked out well that way.....we ordered them from payless.com!
