More then one registry?
I started my registry at bed bath and beyond which i feel is a great store...they have anything and everything you can think of plus they always have coupons so i feel that will be great for my guests to use. I really want to go to the Macys Sip and Scan event thurs night at R. Field mall and possibly register there because they also have a lot of sales, black friday deals, etc.. but should i stick with one store..because pretty much anything i register for at macys i can get at BBB...should i just stick to one registry and keep it easy for everyone?

More then one registry?
Most of the weddings I've been to there were 2 or 3 registries. I plan on registering at bbb and target just to make it easier on people who may have one of the stores close but not the other.

More then one registry?
I have 3 registries, because I didn't like any of the bedding or luggage options at BBB, so I went to Macy's for that stuff. The third one is Pottery Barn, because I love their everyday dinnerware, it's heavy and durable and also goes with the French Country look I'd like my future kitchen to have. I don't think there's anything wrong with registering at another place. More than 3, though, and it starts getting out of hand. LOLIn regard to Macy's vs BBB, I priced out my china and accessories (wine glasses, lazy susans, pots and pans), and for the same items, Macy's was more expensive. Where as at BBB there are always coupons (they even take expired ones), Macy's only has sales every so often, and for housewares (including fine china), it's usually only 10% as opposed to the 20% at BBB.
Sorry this was so long. Do whatever makes you happy, bc that's all that's important in the end. Not many people will get ultra confused by 2 registries.

I don't see anything wrong with having two registries. We are also registered at Macy's just for a couple of things that we couldn't get from BBB!

I feel like most people have more than 1 registry. I feel like 2 is fairly common. I didn't register yet, but I plan on registering a BBB and possibly either Macy's or Pottery Barn. I might do a 3rd honeymoon registry also. We're still debating that.

I think if you want two do two. I just did one because it was easier for me. Haha I'd probably get confused before my guests did. Lol

I suggest doing at least two registries. I prefer (as a guest) having a choice. Also, some people prefer shopping at one place over the other. We did BBB, we are doing Macys on 3/9 and then will look into possibly a thirs at either Pottery Barn, Crate & Barrel, or Sur La Table.

I registered at BBB and Macy's. I registered for my fancier stuff such as fine china, wine glasses, etc at Macy's.

Re: More then one registry?
I've been told 3 registries are average. I picked bed bath and beyond, pier 1 and I'll probably do macy's or target or maybe both!

I've mostly seen 2 registries, but 3 isn't really uncommon. I definitely want BBB and I'm not sure what the second will be yet.

I think it's OK to have 2 registries. :) BBB is a great one and you are right they have coupons. I can't wait to begin my registry.

I'm excited to do my registry. Even before I was engaged I would go to BBB and pick out things for my future registry. I see nothing wrong with having 2 registries, it gives the guest more options. Along with BBB I'm thinking Macy's, and possibly Target.
