I saw this topic on another website and thought it might be fun to discuss here.

For me the most disturbing movies I have seen are:
Bully
Boys don't cry
In the company of men
Very Bad Things

What are yours?

The Ring - freaked me out more then ANY other movie ever has.

Deliverance - 'Squeal like a pig!!' I could never look at Ned Beatty the same again!
Literally jthis scene is SO disturbing to me!

Found this on a web site!!

This was Ned Beatty's first movie and it haunts him to this day. According to Reynolds in an interview with Bob Costas on Later, the sodomy scene was shot with five cameras in one take, which is a good thing, because it's doubtful if Beatty would have done a second take. Much of the dialogue in that scene was ad-libbed.

Definitely agree w/ American History X.

Requiem for a Dream - that ending especially seriously disturbed me. It's something I don't want to see again, though I felt the movie as a whole was very good.

I agree totaly with you! Those where the 2 movies i was going to say. 'squeal like a pig' was just awful!!! i couldnt get it out of my head for days! and the ring??? forget it! I didnt want to go to sleep that night!

OCT...i second a night of a 1000 corpses.

ok, i didnt even WATCH it..people were watching it and i put my head dow because it freaked me out so bad. what a sick sick movie. ahh!!

I still get the creeps walking out in the country -- alone or not.

And I gotta say it - Blair Witch totally creeped me out the first time I saw it. The last half hour was the worst.

Oh and there was this movie Crash. I saw it in the theater and got ID'd 3 times to get in. I thought it was like a Castaway movie but it was sick!!! All sex and car accidents, people were walking out left and right.

A Clockwork Orange was by far the most disturbing movie I have ever seen. I can't hear the song Singing in the Rain anymore without cringing.

I loved that movie....but definately eerie.

I dunno if I call any film disturbing...it's just a movie.

But I have not yet seen the Passions.....

Has anyone seen it? It's a true story about a woman who kept on getting raped by a ghost. I saw it at a sleepover when I was in 6th grade!!!!! Talk about nightmares....

The most disturbing movie I have ever seen was Dead alive ( I think thats what it was called) It was one of those B movies and it was SICK!!!

'evil dead' maybe? with the tree raping the girl? that was sick, but I LOVE that trilogy!!! (can do without the first one) i love bruce campbell!!!

there was this movie 'truth or dare' and it was about these people in the woods around a campfire... and the dares would be somehting like 'pull your eyes out of your head'.... it scarred me for a long time!!!
