Is that the movie with Ron Jeremy? If it is, I didn't see anything.

OMG you're right! I forgot about Audition!! That movie gave me the heebiest jeebies ever! I won't even dare click on that link!

ETA: As soon as I posted that, I clicked the link.

No worries - they just decsribe the movie, but reading it made me re-live it and I couldn't eat for the rest of the day.

you know what? I really do want to see this movie someday - I know all about it - I saw some TV special about the best scary movies, and there was a whole segment on this movie, and as much as I love disturbing movies, I'm not sure about this one... The reviews compared Hard Candy with Audition, and I was just squirming and freaking out while watching Hard Candy - movies about extensive torture really do get to me.... so, I'll have to see - its up to Angelo - if he agrees to see it with me, then I'll have him order it on Blockbuster.... I mean, we have seen every horrific movie imaginable at this point....

Same. We saw Hard Candy, it was good. We just saw Wolf Creek this weekend, we loved it. We don't like pure GORE and TORTURE (think Hostel) as much as suspense and ‘scariness’.

Then you MUST have seen High Tension (In French - its Haute Tension - worst dubbing ever!) OMG - even though the dubbing was bad, that movie had Angelo and me on the edges of our seats for most of the movie!!! That was so tense - we are the same with the torutre and the gore - give us jump out of our skin suspense any day!

Ooh, I remember when that came out! I'm so putting it on our flix!

Side note: Does it annoy anyone else that there's an 'Open Water 2' coming out on DVD? The first one was based on a true story, this one's just about people stranded in the water. And the summary on IMDB sounds like it was written by someone whose first language is NOT English: 'What's worse, the baby belonging to Amy is still on board. '

wow - we never saw the 1st one - we went to the thetaer to go see it, and the guys at the theater - the employees - told us to not even bother wasting our money... LOL
