I asked my friend -she said she's having an after party after her wedding at the carltun. i can't magne having a party after the wedding but i guess it's common. I'll be soooo pooped and just wanting to be with my husband!
There is an entertainment company called Chazzam (I think that's how you spell it) who has all different types of entertainment you can hire for your wedding i.e. statues that come to life, acrobats and other pretty cool things.

ITs not THAT unique because i found it on here but we had a poloroid photo book at our eparty. The guests loved it and we got some funny pics and comments in there toward the end of the night...we read it the following morning and laughed our @sses off!!!!!

OMG...FH asked me if we could have poker tables at the wedding......I told him half of the wedding would be gambling...
It was great, actually! Instead of traditional dancing, we had the casino and played all of our own music (Indie rock) - you can't really dance to it because it's pretty mellow, but all the guests were playing at the tables and chatting. We had so many positive comments. Even the grandma's were playing blackjack! The guys all loved it because many guys don't like to dance. It was really the best decision we made. The DJ company said 'even when we say it's a packed floor, the most we can expect is 30% of people dancing' - We had EVERY PERSON at the wedding except 2 gambling. It was fake money (with our pictures on it!) and we had prizes for the top 2 winners. We had some awesome pictures, too! You can read my review if interested.

We had 8 tables: 1 cr@ps, 1 roulette, 3 blackjack and 3 texas hold em (poker). The casino is priced by how many tables you have and the TYPE of tables you have. I think it came to $2,800 after we added a relief dealer and the custom money with our picture.
It was REALLY important to us to play OUR music, but we knew no one would want to dance to it, so we got the casino for our guests and had the music for us!![]()

I've seen life size cardboard cutouts of the bride and groom posed so that guests can take pictures with them without actually stopping them to take a picture. It's pretty funny but I wouldn't want to see those pictures! LOL

did it take away from people dancing or where they focused more on the tables or did people do both??
