Ok so my step-mother went and got her gown for the wedding on her own after we had looked a few times. I dont want to hurt her feelings but I hate the dress. Its iridescent blue/greenish and glittery and I'm just not a fan. She keeps asking me if I like it and I'm saying its nice but I think she hears it in my voice. The other dresses she was looking at were coral and cranberry colored and compliment my bm's dresses (wine) so nicely. Should I just keep my mouth shut??? I told her I dont want to be a pain in the *** and force her to wear something she doesnt want to wear. Also I'm not close with my mom so she will be the mother of the bride.

oh no! that stinks - it would have been better if she had waited and gotten your input *before* buying. but if she really likes the dress, i don't know if i'd say anything (unless it really just didn't work at all). GL!!!

unless it is white or totally inappropriate, i don't think its worth it...if she is happy and loves it i think that should be good enough..especially b/c you two are so close, you do not want to cause a rift over a dress!
