Mother's Day (FMIL gift???)

Okay, so Mother's Day is coming in less than a month and I am wondering what to get/do for FMIL. I mean, this isnt the first Mother's Day I've known her and I've done flowers before.

But I feel this mothers day is special...like next year i will be her official daughter-in-law!!

Any ideas? Anyone doing anything?

i always struggle with this-fmil is impossible to shop for bc she never wants anything..

one year i got her a sterling silver locket, and i put a pic of fh and fsil in it--she wears it all the time

This is FH's responsibility. He takes care of all gifts for his family, and I take care of the ones for mine.

We've been doing combined gifts for a few years now, so leaving it up to him is much easier for me

I do all the gift shopping in the relationship. How about something she will use like a purse or something. I bought FMIL a Coach swing pack last year and it is her favorite bag to take shopping. She uses it all the time. I try to avoid things that she isnt going to use because i will never see them.

Last year for Mother's Day, FH and I got our moms 'Mother of the Bride' and 'Mother of the Groom' tshirts.

Anything that says 'Mother of the Groom' is cute (shirt, tote bag, etc).
