Hi Ladies - I still plan on coming in here all the time but FH and I have decided it is best if we postpone the wedding until 2010. We have a lot of things to work through right now, and the pressure of trying to get them all worked out before a certain date makes us both crazy.
I called my RH and they said they will keep the same pricing for 2010 for us and will honor all of the down payments we have made, provided we give them an additonal $1000 deposit to be applied to the bill. I think this is extremely reasonable and I am so grateful to them. If we cancel we will lose everything we have already paid.
I still need to contact my hair and makeup ladies to see if I can reschedule and not lose my deposit. I assume it will not be a problem since I am giving them plenty of notice. My DJ already said no problem.
So, while I was hoping to get married in 2009 (before turning 30), it is not in the cards for me. All in all, I feel very relieved to be moving it all back. Now I might even be able to have a summer wedding instead of fall (my sis is getting married May 2009 so I couldn't be too close to her).
I still plan on coming by here, and I really appreciate ALL of the advice you've given me about everything. And I already have my tickets for TWOTY so I'll see some of you there, and maybe even get to go next year as well.

aww im sorry u have to switch the date but bottom line u r still getting married and the date dont mean that much

You will be missed on the 09 boards... I hope you still post on BOTH boards now. lol. If that's the best intrest for you and your FH then so be it. Best of luck to everything!

im glad you guys are moving the date..u will have more time to pay everything off...and figuer things out..and wtever happens ..happens for the best!

sorry you have to switch but if its the best decision for both of you then that is what is worth it. either way you will have a wonderful wedding and just remember you were and 09 girl first.

Don;t worry, I'll be posting on both boards. I feel like I know alot about you '09ers and want to make sure I stay up to date with your progress.
Plus, I think the only way I will reach 1000 posts is if I use both boards.
