I saw the one with the two girls joint party at Hard Rock. If they are only 15 or 16, what are they doing driving around by themselves!

I went to boarding school in an affluent CT area, but nobody I knew had Sweet 16s...A lot of the girls had debutante balls but I never went to a Sweet 16...Certainly not for lack of $, a lot of the kids were loaded...

Sorry I vented, but I work in a very wealthy neighborhood & had a 14 year old come in for a MASSAGE recently (yes, I'm serious) & was complaining about how stressful her life was!!!! (While carrying the latest Louis bag & dressed from head to toe in Juicy couture).
Awww. Poor poor thing!!! How sad must it be that life is so stressful for her.

I haven't seen last night's yet but I saw the one with the two girls. Unbelievable!! It was so disturbing, yet I had to watch it.
My sweet 16 was in my backyard, I didn't even want one, my family threw it as a surprise party. I did go to a few that were a little over the top, but this one on MTV was ridiculous.

great post- I made the mistake of watching this the other night and DH had to restrain me from reaching into the television to throttle these spoiled brats! OMG - what WORLD are they from???? I never had a sweet 16 either, and watching these girls just made me sick. What brats - I'd love to crash their parties just to kick their pampered a$$es!

I didn't watch the show but, I have been hearing lately that sweet 16's are turning into this. I just got an invitation to one recently that was nicer than my wedding invitation which was $$$$$$$$$$$$$$
My little cousin told me about one she went to a few months ago where the reception room had a screen come down from the ceiling and showed the girl coming out of her limo and entering the building...that is not a joke, lol!

We actually saw one of the girls on an upcoming episode at Kleinfeld's when I went for my gown. She had a camera with her and a ton of relatives. They were from New Jersey. The episode hasn't aired yet.

Some people have had sweet16 parties at Oheka castle. In the book of cakes that the pasty chef was displaying had some sweet 16 cakes like cakes made into platform shoes and stuff like that. Oheka is the top of the top. Where do you have your wedding after that? It is just nuts.
