Must Play Song List........

FH and I rarely listen to the radio much. We do listen to top 40 tracks but its not our first preference. Obviously we will play this music at the wedding since there are many good dance songs.

Anyone care to share their list? I started making one but I don't want to forget some songs.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We only had a few must play songs and then we gave them a list of artists & genres we loved. They should be able to read the crowd.

We just told our DJ to play everything that people love. He went through a few different popular genres just to make sure they were ok with us - disco, Motown, top 40s, etc. We said yes to everything, and then we a gave him a short list of must plays, which were just songs that we and our friends/family particularly love. This is our list:

o Love Shack – B-52s
o Blister in the Sun – Violent Femmes
o Bohemian Rhapsody – Queen
o Shake It – Metro Station
o Uncomplicated – Avril Lavine
o Gangham Style – Psy
o Paradise by the dashboard lights – Meatloaf
o When Doves Cry – Prince
o Poker Face – Lady Gaga

Our DJ did a great job of just reading the crowd and keeping everything going.

yeah I feel like my 'must play list' will probably already be on played at the wedding considering its what is popular right now.

I suppose I should write down some 80's hits but again I feel like DJ's know to play this!!

I kind of feel bad for my DJ because we don't really want mainstream music. It will be a lot of rock and reggae, so we have a list of must plays and artists and aren't letting him take requests lol.
