I have a 3-stone E-ring. I examined my ring really well one day and I noticed that one of the diamonds on the side is a little flatter than the other 2 diamonds and the flatter diamond is a little loose. My FH got the ring sized so the first thing that popped in my head was 'OMG someone switched my diamond'. But I got it checked and that was not the case, thank goodness. My friends and family examined it and they say all 3 diamonds are even and the same size and that its all in my head. The diamonds are round cut and sometimes they look different in different lightings and different angles. Does anyone know about past, present and future rings? Are they suppose to be different sizes? Has something like this happened to any of you? I dont know about those PPF rings, I loved the ring because of its style. Please HELP!!!!!!!!

Re: My 3-stone E-ring problem.............
I had a similar problem with my e-ring and it's channel set diamonds on the side. I was told it had to do with being sized. I don't know what to do because my jeweler isn't really helping.

I have a 3 stone ring. My two stones on the side are the same size. The stone in the middle is bigger.

I used to work in diamonds (lucky FH huh?) And all diamonds are different in some way. If they are all certified stones, check what they all say for girdle, it may have a thinner or thicker girdle than the others, and you can slightly notice it (upon intense examination). But I can say that round stones tend to look different in different lighting and angles so it is probably all in your head!

I have a PPF ring also. Mine are princess cut though and the middle one is bigger then the side ones. Here is my pic
I have a PPF ring with round stones that sometimes look square because of the setting. My center stone is larger then the side stones but the two on the side are exactly the same size. They don't look any different from one another. Maybe in your ring one is set higher then the other? I would have it looked at if you haven't already and see what they can do.

Yesss, it looks like the one promlem diamond is set a little lower and the other diamonds are set higher so maybe thats why the head looks flatter and the other 2 look bigger. I should check that out and get it fixed. Does anyone know of any good reliable jewelers.
