My 9/21 Wedding (Long)
Finally have a chance to post! Thank you to all for the advice and tips. This board really helped me in planning. When I woke up it was raining, but the sun came out by noon! Yea! Jackie at IMAKEUUP did the makeup for myself, my girls and my aunt. We all looked so great and it lasted the whole day. She also stayed and made up my cousin who we called because we all looked and felt so good. She was alot of fun to hang out with and made the preparations really fun. Flowers by Brian arrived early and the bouquets were absolutely gorgeous. I had an all lavendar rose bouquet and my girls had a mix of those, white roses and blue delphinium. They were fabulous - better and bigger then I imagined. My centerpieces were beautiful - I did all white and in the darkened room with the windows it was very dramatic. Royalty limos - I can`t say enough. They were early, but did not rush us. They were in control of the traffic situation (I got dressed at my aunt`s house in Seaford and the church was in Valley Stream). The traffic on the way to the reception was bad, but they took back roads to minimize the time. All the drivers were so helpful. We spent alot of the beginning of the reception taking pictures - we had a tight schedule already and the traffic hurt. Crescent Beach Club - I am still hearing from guests about how great the food, service and setting were. We had the cocktail hour outside on the deck and beach, and although it was dark by the time we got there it was a beautiful scene. The room looked fabulous - and the outside deck for cordials and cigars was such a nice touch. Everyone there was so nice and helpful and the service was outstanding. They continued to ask our guests if they wanted a second (and third!) entree. Our cake was so beautiful and delicious. Other than a bite of dinner and a bite of cake we ate nothing but everyone tells us it was great. Our band - Baby Grand was great. Everyone danced all night and they did a great job on our wedding song, which they learned for us. My dad did a nice speech in the beginning, offering a moment of silence for the victims and our priest really incorporated the tragedy in such a touching way. He spoke of how he knew we felt uncomfortable (my FI lost a friend and 2 distant cousins, my dad a good friend) but the need to celebrate life was important. I did manage to take a minute to look around and it was truly everything I had dreamed of and more. I was so scared going down the aisle but once I saw my husband, the smile on my face was huge! Our video and photographers were not in the way, but haven`t seen the proofs yet. We went ahead on our honeymoon (Germany, Austria and Ireland). I flipped at the airport and my husband said I`ll go get our luggage and we`ll go home. The way he said it just reassured me so much that after 2 glasses of wine I was ok to get on the plane and it was fine. Thanks again for everyone`s advice! Good luck and feel free to ask any questions.

Congratulations!! Just a few questions.
It sounds like you had a great day. Can you tell me what cars you used from Royalty. What type of flowers were your centerpieces. I am looking for all white and was thinking of roses. If you don't mind would you be able to give an estimate on how much you spent on flowers. Also, what photographer and video did you use?

Congratulations!! Just a few questions.
I spent about $3500 - my centerpieces were roses, queen witstica, white delphinums, etc. (I'm reading off my contract and the abbreviations are difficult to decipher). I had them in elevated glass stands. I had 22 tables, a dais piece, powder room arrangement, bridal, 1 MOH 2 BM, 2 FG Baskets (All lavendar roses) 10 corsages and 15 boutonnieres (all lavendar and white roses, the GM had blue delphinium) a toss away and a bouquet for the blessed mother. My video was by Classic Videoz and my photographer was Elmo Sollitto. No feedback to date.

RE: Karen and cars
I forgot your other question - we used the Jaguar for me and my dad (and then for us) and we had 1 8 passenger and 2 6 passenger white Lincolns (?). I think - all the cars were new and beautiful inside and out.Welcome New Vendors
