My 9/6 Wedding Review-Long
I just want to say that all my vendors were above and beyond what I expected- I really wouldn't say that if I thought it wasn't true so I am not going to give them letter grades because that would not help anyone since they are all A's. Also the biggest thing I learned throught all this planning is that just because people have never heard of your vendors or if people say something negative about them if they work for you-- go for it. I am addicted to this website but sometimes I feel it causes some unnecessary panic. So just keep that in mind as you read my review.Westbury Manor: They did such a nice job with everything. Their staff was so attentive from the moment we got there. The room was set up perfectly and they added all my little touches with no instruction from me except for little notes- I was to busy to go to the final meeting so FH did it. The weather was awesome so we got to have our outside cocktail hour and it was beautiful. The photos that we have seen look great on the grounds. I did not even care that there were other weddings going on and the guests did not really notice either. The two biggest concerns I had were having a day wedding and that the room would be too big- but the room looked great and people ate and drank so much and danced that the afternoon thing didn't matter.
Limos: Royalty- they were great too. Very punctual. We had a princess rolls and a navigator- the navigator limo driver was awesome- just because we had him drop off the guys and come get the girls but we were down the block and he came and got us without even asking.
Flowers: I used a woman who does weddings on the side. The flowers were so nice. I was not really too concerned with flowers but you would not believe how nice the flowers looked- and you would be shocked at the cost.
DJ: Fantasia- he was reccomended by ddunne. He was great- not cheesey- played music during the cocktail hour, listened to the do not play list played the songs we wanted. Had people up and dancing at 2:00 in the afternoon so he must be good.
Photographer: We loved him but he is not doing weddings anymore. It is so important to click with your photographer- it makes everything so much easier. He was awesome.
Video: Kate Media Inc. Originally we were not going to have a video but then we changed our minds. John used the tiniest camera and no bright lights. I haven't seen the footage yet but I am sure he got some great stuff because no one even noticed when he was around so I am sure he captured everyone acting normally. His prices are so reasonable as well. ( I know everyone is skeptical of low prices but he was awesome and I was so confident about him I booked him without meeting him- just from emails and phone calls.)

Invitations: Lizard Designs. Her invitations are so original-plus the fact that they are addressed, assembled and stamped makes it so much easier.Favors:
myownlabels.com- we ordered cd labels from there and they were quick and they came out great.
At the last minute my mom thought we should give out something else so she ordered candy bars from thecandywrapper.com- She did the candy bars in like three days. She is out in Suffolk someplace.
Dress: Bridal Reflections: Although people have a lot of issues with them- I thought they were great. They didn't push more expensive stuff on me, they ordered some special shoes for me, and always knew my name when I went for alterations or anything. I am glad I had the whole salon experience. My alterations were less than the cap too.
RK BRIDAL: JR BMs and Mom Dress: They saved so much money and they came so quick., The jr bms dresses I ordered in June and got in July.
Rehearsal Dinner: Annabella's...great place- we have all our family parties there- you get so much food and it is so reasonable. I made FI a golf ball grooms cake ( I actually baked it myself and it was not to hard). Everyone had fun.
