My adventure yesterday(kinda long)
Me and the hubby took our children to the city yesterday. As we were on our way there we realized all of the youngins wearing green and drinking beers at 9:50 in the am that yesterday was the st paddys parade. In the city a couple of the subway lines weren't working that day so I had to try to cram into a subway full of people with my 2 children a stroller not fun. Despite all that we had sooo much fun with the kids at the musuem and walking in central park and times square and eating at planet hollywood. When we were finally ready to come home we find out on the train that there was a fire at the brentwood train tracks. Our stop is Central Islip right after brentwood. Soo the train couldn't go further then deer park. Sooooo everyone had to get off at Deer park and take school buses(YES school buses) to either brentwood Central islip or ronkonkoma. We finally got home at 11:30 with exhausted children who went right to sleep with an exhausted mama and dada who couldn't wait to go to bed. But it was fun and the kids loved every minute of it.
OH AND P.S. There was a girl on train going there talking about wedding planning the whole time. I didn't recognize her from any pics I have seen on here but I am wondering if she is on this site as an LIW bride. HEY you never know! :)
