My BATTLE WOUND***UPDATE***

Well.... I had a pretty eventful weekend.. Sunday am- 2:34 to be exact- I woke up, went to the bathroom, went to take a tylenol (it had been a long day), and coming back to bed I tripped..

I tripped on my FI's work boot and went face first into the corner of the wall.. I have blood/bronzer on the wall still to prove it.. Any idea how to get that off? Mr Clean magic erasers won't cut it!

16 days till my wedding and I am chock full of stitches.. I have no idea how many- just that I have 3 layers (of course, I don't do anything half a$$ed- the gash in my eyebrow went all the way to the bone) & the plastic surgeon stopped counting.. Yes, plastic surgeon.. I told them I was getting married in 2 weeks and my eyebrow had to look decent, so they sent me home and told me to come back @ 7 to meet the PS.. who BTW didn't roll up till 930... lovely... I spent 5 hours in the hosp ER... plus the 1 hour before they sent me home.. Aren't YOU jealous??

So here I am... battle wound and all.. Can you believe my luck!??!!? No pity party- it's all pretty funny now.. Hell, Melissa thinks it's hilarious!!

I am so sorry with 16 days til the wedding.. BUT on the bright side.. I truly, sincerely don't think it looks that bad.. I would totally tell you if it did
figure in another 10 days the stiches will be out and it's nothing a little makeup can't cover.. You will be a gorgeous bride no matter what

It actually looks pretty good!! Did they tell you how long you need the stiches in??? IT should be close to healed up by then.

Put Vitamin E (you buy them i clear capsules, you pop it and put the oil on) On the site, it will help to minimize scarring and help it to heal faster!!!

Just tell people someone was harrassing you FH at a bar and you didn't take it!!......And when they gasp.....say 'you should see the other guy'

Actually, the good thing is that all the stitches are the dissolving kind.... The deep tissue ones will dissolve in about 6-8 weeks.. The middle layer about a month and the externals should dissolve in 7 days..


Mia from B*L has her job cut out for her.. I'm sure she'll perform a miracle! I have complete faith in her.. I just have to call her and give her the heads up..

ooh that stinks!!!!! But it doesn't look that bad, prob feels worse!!! I think you'll be great by the big day!!!

dude, it has been the joke of my school.. Worst part is is that Saturday was Vin's cousin's going away party before he's deployed.. So I was a little 'under the weather'.. okay, a LOT under the weather.. However, when I tripped I was STONE COLD SOBER.. No one believes me though. I'm sure I definitely stunk in that ER too..

So Vin's whole family is harrassing me & calling me a clumsy lush.. Fabulous..

Oh no!! I'm sure it will look fine on your wedding day--makeup will cover any remaining redness and you'll look so good, no one will notice the scar.
