Well Stef has been hard at work designing my birth annoucements. Since we are having a baby near the Holidays I wanted a Christmas Card/Birth Annoucement combo. She helped me to figure out a way to have the cards printed prior to the baby's arrival so that I could have them all ready to go (practically) and not have to be a new mommy and worry about putting birth annoucements together, plus do Holiday stuff too. She designed 6 or 7 different concepts but here are the 2 that I like best:
Inside the little vellum envelope will be the baby's photo, and on the flip side of the photo will be all of the info (name, b-day, weight, height). So bascially everything can be ready to go, and all we have to do is insert the photo into the little envelope and mail. I just wanted to know if anyone had any different text ideas or suggestions etc and which one everyone likes best. I know Stef feels the second one is a bit too busy. Your thoughts/comments?

I think they're both beautiful. I like the first one better though. I can't believe you're little one is almost here.

I like number 1 as well - less busy. Stef does great work.
I do like the phrase in #2. Could you maybe incorporate that phrase on the vellum envelope before writing the baby's name, weight etc.

Re: My birth annoucements- need some input
very nice. Just some feedback: I think I'd write 'Love Michele and Scott' or Lots of Love, or Hugs and Kisses. something more warm and fuzzy for the holidays..
Just a thought, but might be too crowded on the card. I like the 'best gifts...' thing.. maybe you can make the box look more like a gift-box.. like have a border of ribbon around it? just a thought.
looks great

Love them both, Michele!! We're going to do the same thing .... birth announcement/holiday card combo!! Takes the pressure off during such a busy time.
Our idea was to have Lia from Imagine do a shoot with the baby & print the cards similiar to our TY's. Hope ours come out as gorgeous as these! Great job, you guys.

I like #2 better I think. I don't think it looks busy and it's well balanced between the writing and where the picture is placed.
Good luck deciding!

Re: My birth annoucements- need some input
I am thinking of taking our names off the annoucement front and I will write a personal message on the back of the card so that way it is less crowded on the front.

I LOVE them ... Awesome job Stef!
I like #1 Michele ... I think it's perfect. I like the idea of writing a personal message in the back - that'll give it the 'warm and fuzzy' feeling Anna was getting at! Beautiful!!!

#1
I agree about it being crowded, and signing it with a more personal touch.

I would remove your names from the front of the card.

I like #1 since the baby's pic would be in the center. I think #2 is a bit busy on the bottom. Great job Stef!
