my bits of wisdom

little things i learned leading up to the wedding:

1. pretend the wedding is one day before it is, so that way everything gets done ahead of time
2. check the tux for everything when you bring it home (i was missing 2 buttons and almost had a heart attack 30 minutes before the church).
3. whatever you take out to pack for honeymoon, automatically reduce clothing by 25%. you won't need it.
4. as opposed to having the groom, best man, and officiant trying to figure out which hand the ring goes on 1 minute prior to the ceremony, ask in advance.
5. if you are taking lots of cash on honeymoon, plan ahead. atms only let you take out a certain amount. if you take out money on friday nite, that counts towards saturdays total as well.
6. remember as bad as it may seem, it could be worse.
7. remember it will all work out in the end.
8. you will probably need more booze than they give in the limo.
9. use a napkin to pat your face.
10. if you like the food, try to eat more of it. have the maitre' d fetch it for you.
11. for any introduction songs, beware of the slower intro part.
12. don't fly air france.

very cute I will use some of those this weekend!!! good thought about the ATM's and the Friday/Saturday thing!!!!

oh, one more thing Matt-why did you say put your head on the floor for the lighting of the tree, I am sitting here trying to figure out what kind of view I would get lol!!!

You are funny Matt, I liked your list, I agree with quite a few of them.

When we got my hubby's tux home and all the other men, they were all wrong, it was a good thing we checked and had time to change them.

Matt...what did you mean by the slow introduction songs? we are planning on a slower song, actually not slow but not a dance type song...did it feel like it was dragging with a slower song??
