MY CAR WAS STOLEN LAST NIGHT!!!!

I'm so upset! My FI and I went to the store last night and I bought my friend her bridal shower gift. My car had been stolen while I was shopping last night! And we aren't insured for theft since our cars are saturns and older, who would possibly want my car (besides me of course). We were already having financial problems and fighting about money. Now I have to buy a new car with all of my savings for the wedding! I've been trying to save a lot too since I didn't have much and now it's all gone, just like that! I can't even stop crying, I feel so violated!

I Know how you feel- my car was stolen a year ago- but I got it back a couple of days later. I had golf clubs and so much stuff in the car and I got everything back- the car wasn't in great shape but it was fixable. Just wait you might get it back--sometimes it is just people on a joy ride.

Thanks ladies. I can't believe this happened. I was in shock for the first hour last night. Couldn't believe they wanted a saturn vs the mustang and SUV next to my car.

DCbride: I'm glad that you got your car back. It gives me a little hope that they'll find mine.

I am so sorry, I know how you feel. They attempted to steal my car on Valentine's day (3 months before our wedding).

The a$$es who tried to steal it broke my column and must have felt like real jerks when they saw I have a multilock on my car & it's almost impossible to steal. They didn't see the multilock in the dark and had it started & all, when they went to put it in drive, HA! It won't move cause the shifter is locked.

Anyway I didn't report it to my insurance company because of my deductible so I had to lay out the money to repair it myself because of the lowlife criminals in our society. Right before our wedding thats the last thing we needed but we'll get by and so will you. Things work out.

Can you buy a used car for now?

I am soooo sorry to hear that! That is horrible. But to give you some hope- this guy stole my mother's motorcycle and when they caught him he did something like $3K worth of work and made it better than it was before. You never know! Like the girls said maybe someone just wanted to take it for a joy ride.
