I got 8-10 scratch off's!!! Yes you read right...scratch offs from my dear cousin! When she got married, my mom and i threw her shower, paid for everything...In return, she didn't show up to my shower (allergies were acting up) and sent a card with scratch offs! Jeez some people are just truly sad. Sorry if this sounded materialistic...it goes beyond this annoyance...BUT felt like venting

Ok, so that'ss pretty bad, but I think tis is the kind of thing you have to just laugh off. Wow. Some people really are clueless. I think we should start a thread with like, the most atrocious things that have been done to us surrounding our weddings, showers, etc. wow.

I am so hard that I am !! MY FMIL gives those for every occassion. Bday's, Christmas, Anniversaries...my eparty!!! The most I ever won was $50.

On the news last night there was a young masters degree student, who's father bought herself and her sister a lotto ticket each and she won $5 million.
The gift is strange, but the potential is good for it turning into a really great gift.

OK, now I get it. I read the other post first! Scratch offs! I had a friend that was going to giver her sister$100 of them for her wedding. umm, why not just gove $100 then?
