A woman that I work with from my department in New Jersey sent me a card with a $25 Amex gift certificate to congratulate me on the wedding. I thought that was so sweet! I hardly ever see her unless we get together for training, so it was such a surprise! It was totally on her own, too. She said since we've known each other for so long she wanted to send me a little something. Goes to show there are some genuinely kind-hearted people out there!! She made my day! I got all teary-eyed!!

These wonderfully touching gestures perpetuate others. I bet the next time someone you know gets engaged you in turn will do something equally special. We learn such things by example. You are fortunate to have made an acquaintance of such a thoughtful person.
