I just wrote a long post and it deleted itself. Here we go again:
My e-party is tonight and I just found out from my sister that our cousin is planning to propose to his gf tonight at my party. It's a big surprise, but he's very close with my sister. She told him she didnt think it was the best idea, but he is adament about it and said he's been planning this for a long time since a lot of our family will be there. I'm upset because he always manages to be the center of attention and I want tonight to be abot me and my fiance, not my cousin and his.
I'm not supposed to know about any of this because my cousin made my sister promise not to tell anyone so he can keep it a surprise. Can I ask him not to do it? Can I ask him not to come? My sister does NOT want me to mention anything to him because then he will know she blabbed. How do I keep this from ruining my night? I'm having severe anxiety about this and I'm going to be thinking about it constantly.
Am I being crazy here? Please help me

OK, so our e-party was lots of fun.
A lot of my relatives were congratulating them throughout the night but there was no big announcement.
our party was definitely about US, so they couldnt completely steal the show. of course it ***** and im still pissed at him, but they better not try to get married on our date! We'll have to see what date they pick....
I *did* seat them at the kids table though! it was my own personal revenge. i kind of feel bad for his fiance because she looked embarrassed and confused, but it was worth it. (the kids table was age 5-16 and they are 23).
the best part of the night was when my dad's elderly aunt went up to my cousin and said -- 'you proposed right before jassie's engagement party? why would you do that?' LOL
LOL seating them at the kids table is hilarious~~ im glad you had alot of fun and I'm glad everything went well~~ now make sure their wedding is not a week before yours

i see some people feel bad for her cousin's fiance... but ya know what? she better get used to stuff like that if shes gonna marry someone who would do something so rude!
