I just wrote a long post and it deleted itself. Here we go again:

My e-party is tonight and I just found out from my sister that our cousin is planning to propose to his gf tonight at my party. It's a big surprise, but he's very close with my sister. She told him she didnt think it was the best idea, but he is adament about it and said he's been planning this for a long time since a lot of our family will be there. I'm upset because he always manages to be the center of attention and I want tonight to be abot me and my fiance, not my cousin and his.

I'm not supposed to know about any of this because my cousin made my sister promise not to tell anyone so he can keep it a surprise. Can I ask him not to do it? Can I ask him not to come? My sister does NOT want me to mention anything to him because then he will know she blabbed. How do I keep this from ruining my night? I'm having severe anxiety about this and I'm going to be thinking about it constantly.

Am I being crazy here? Please help me

I think thats just rude that he's even PLANNING this whole thing during your party and you should be able to say something. If anything, your sister should have had your back and told him it was inappropriate.

WOW! I'm actually angry after reading this! I can't believe how selfish your cousin is being! If I were in this situation, I would have kicked my cousins A S S!!!!
You should be at your party right now, so I hope you're having a great time despite what this moron does. I'm so sorry that you had to be put through this on a night that was supposed to be special for you and your FH. I hope that you end up having a fabulous night anyway!

I am so sorry that he is ruining your night--he is rude and should be uninvited. It is your night, people are there for you, don't worry, just have fun and try to forget about it
