my dad was at my wedding...WIERD STORY!

OK... so Im a bit freaked out by this...but thought i would share anyway....

my dad died when I was 10... right when he passed away I used to pray at night that he would visit me in my dreams so i could see him again... i never dreamed about him... ever... so i stopped believing in God... growing up i never really felt his presence around me or anything...

anyway, years later... right when I got engaged we got this wierd random letter in the mail that there was some life insurance policy that no one knew about on my father from before he was even married to my mom and it says that the money should go to his children!! We thought it was a scam, but it turns out that my brother and I each got a small sum of money... the timing was so wierd and it was almost like my dad was contributing to the wedding/down payment on our house...

So anyway, my wedding day comes, and we did a donation favor in memory of my dad and i had memorial candles... I had my pseudo step father walk me down the aisle with my mom and I danced with my uncles... i tried not to think about my dad because i didnt want to get upset about him not being there...

So I just got off the phone with my mom... who had this WIERD story to tell me... she was talking to a friends mom, who sometimes has 'visions.' I have ALWAYS wanted to go to someone like this to see if my dad is really around me, but i have always been too chicken...

So this woman tells my mom that she sees a wedding... and that there was a spirit there who wants her to know that he was there... that she sees the letter 'R' (my dad's name starts with an R) So my mom is like yeah right... well the woman goes on to ask if anything broke at the wedding... like glasses... my mom says no... nothing broke... her friends start yelling at her telling her that someone knocked over a whole tray of chamapagne glasses... (which i know happened because DH's friends did it) and the woman says that the spirit was there when this happened... so my mom is still feeling really skeptical... well then the woman tells her that he wants to tell her something that no one else would know... and she repeats something that happened to them when she was 16 or so when they first started dating... this was something that no one else would ever know... my mom started hysterically crying!

Im kinda freaked about this, but it means that my dad was really at my wedding!!! I have always kind of believe in the spirit stuff... but never sure because i thought if it was true that maybe by dad would have some how made me felt his presence before...

I dont know... wierd random story I guess... just wanted to share...
