my date last night

my date last night

I went into the city to meet up with the guy I met at The Yankee game. He 'picked' me up in a cab at Penn and we went to the lower east side. We didnt eat dinner, he had to work late and I was running around- also had a nervous stomach- so I got into the city around 9:00. We went to a few lounges and bars. It was so much fun. I miss Manhattan.
He's so cute, sweet and funny. There wasnt any lull in the conversation. And he has a sarcastic/funny sense of humor like me. Hes from CA so I would make fun of the West coast and he would playfully go right back at me. The night went by so fast!

Early in the night, I did tell him about my situation (very brief) that I was recenly married, didnt work out, were separated and the paperwork is being drawn up for an anullment. He asked if I lived alone and I thought right there was the opportunity to tell him. He loved the fact I was honest and he said it didnt matter to him. I am so glad I did tell him on the first date since there is definately going to be a second one.

He was very polite, paid for everything-except one round which I paid for while he wa sinthe bathroom- he wasnt happy but thats how I am...He put my jacket on, held his hand for me when I got out of the cab... everything that could go right did!

He also asked if he could kiss me and I did say yes... (great kisser)

It was such a good night. I felt alive again. I felt good, looked good and had a great night in the city...

That's awesome!! By the way are u from Long Island?? if so are u from Suffolk or Nassau?
Just curious. This sounds good. Just be careful.

That is AWESOME Kristi! I'm glad you had a good time. And can I just say the fact that he ASKED to kiss you.....the ONLY guy to EVER ask to kiss me is my husband Rich.....it's those little things that truly matter!
