My dog (Kiki) is going for her ultrasound today. We will find out if she has Liver Shunts. If she does she will need surgery...and if it's not that..then I don't know what is going to happen. Please pray that she will be ok....

i JUST GOT AN UPDATE - and i'm PISSED at my Vet!!
Turns out the Bial Acid test - they did at the Vet last week, were supposed to be done 12 hours after she fasted. Kiki ate before the test was done...and she wasnt' supposed to. If they were going to do that..they had to make sure she fasted..then have her eat and do it again.
So wonderful Dr. Justin told my FH that she looks fine (after a thorough search) and even offered for us to opt out of the ultra sound because it was going to cost us $300 for what seems like nothing. We decided to have it done anyway...so let's see what happens.
What is funny is that his FI is on these boards..and he made mention of us having spoke! LIW ROCKS!!
