My doggy is sick....UPDATE
So, FH and his brother have been having terrible problems the past 6 months, even longer. Not getting along, fighting to the point where his brother told him he is not going to be his best man or even come to our wedding with his wife.
Anyway....FH and I ate chicken for dinner and cleaned up while we were on the phone for 3 hrs. arguing with his brother and his brother's wife. My two dogs got into the garbage and started eating the chicken we threw out. We didnt even realize it b/c FH's brother had us so stressed out. Finally I noticed he got in the garbage and he threw up a small chicken bone. I brought him to the emergency vet and they took x-rays and he has another small chicken bone in his stomach. The vet said he should pass it with no problem but I have to watch him closely overnight and bring him back to my own vet tomorrow to see if it is moving through his system.
I am so upset. My dog Rocky has had terrible health problems his whole life, and he is only 2. This is just something else to add to it. He gets so scared to go to the vet b/c he is there all the time and they are always poking him and probing him and now this. I only hope he passes it with no problems.
UPDATE: Rocky is feeling much better. I brought him back to the vet and the vet said he should have no problem passing the little chicken bones he chewed up. He is not throwing up or in any pain which is a good sign that it has not damaged his stomach or anything else. Just have to wait for him to poop them out....LOL.
Rocky says Thanks for all your support and prayers.
