I went in today to look for veils, and Tracey at Elena Bridal (who I LOVE) surprised me with my actual dress! AMAZING! It's really becoming real- it killed me not to take my dress home today!
Tried on all of the various purchases for possible DOJ and narrowed it down. Question for the ladies- what do you all think about hairpieces? I'm really not a tiara girl, but I'm sort of changing my mind about the idea of a little hair bling- pins, combs, maybe.
Thoughts? Where is a good place to find this stuff to try on- and make decisions?
Would love input!

Re: My dress came in!
I'm not really into tiaras for myself either. I'm going to use a haircomb, but i haven't bought one yet. I've been looking on Etsy, but it's so hard when you're not looking at it in person!
I haven't found a store to look at them yet! I should probbbably get on that too!

Ahh, trying on your actual dress is the best feeling!
I went to Bridal Styles in Brooklyn for my headpiece - they have everything from combs to tiaras to headbands. And you can try on all you want :) :)

I'm not a tiara girl either - but I definitely plan on a nice blingy comb or something. They had some nice ones on Etsy ...

Re: My dress came in!
I have a headpiece that they are putting a comb on. I found it at the same place I bought my gown, Bridal Reflections in Massapequa. They were having a veil and headpiece show. I had my dress on, well the sample, then was able to see what went well with it.
