hello girls! well, i got the postcard a couple of weeks ago telling me my dress is in and i finally got in to try it on! its a little big on top and way too long, it wasn't laced up tight enough, but you get the idea. also i was not wearing a slip. i think i will get a medium-poofy slip. my dress is maggie sottero's capri. the pink dress is my bm's dress which is by mori lee.
oh, i am contemplating an updo or a half-up half-down do for the big day...what do you think will look best with my dress? my hair is getting long, a little past my shoulders now. thanks! ~lacey

Very pretty! With a summer wedding you do better with an updo. I don't love the way I look with my hair up so I'm doing the half- up do...you look great in the pic with your hair pulled back- go for it!! I love the beading!

i am pretty short myself (5'3)...i was standing on a box when they took pics. i ordered the dress in petite so it was shorter than a normal size 8. they have to cut a lot off, hopefully it will look OK after alterations! thanks again for all your kind words girls! ~lacey
