I checked my email from Davids Bridal, my dress is ready!!! I just went like 2-3 weeks ago and they told me my dress might be ready around May. I was worried I was pushin it a little but lo and behold, its ready today. Made an appointment for this saturday for my first fitting and alteration. Just wanted to share my news with all of you.
Now question: how many alterations are usually needed and how close to the wedding is the last alteration usually?

oh hyeahhhh congrats so exciting!!!!!!
alterations usually start 2 months before and the last fitting is the closest they can schedule for you to your day

congrats...but as a warning i wouldnt get your fittings done at davids...i got my dress there too and i have heard only nightmare stories about their lteration dept...maybe take it to another bridal shop?

I got my dress at David's, too, and they told me November when I ordered it in August. . .I received it in late September.
Where could I bring my dress for the alterations, then? I don't want to break the bank for them.
