What should I do with these hanging straps? Seamstress recommended cap sleeves that hang mid arm or halter. I am thinking of removing it completely and possibly making it into a sash.
Thoughts?

I'm not a fan of cap sleeves, so I say cut them off completely.
If you do cut them off, I would say don't make a sash for your dress...it's so pretty as it is. You could use the material as the ribbon for your bouquet, or maybe a sash for your flower girl(s). Or, could those pieces be used (along with some satin fabric) to make you a shawl in case you're cold?

I think halter based on your current tan line! The dress looks very pretty without sleeves too though.

Cap sleeves, a la Tori Spelling's dress from her first wedding would be gorgeous with that beautiful gown.

That's what I was thinking too.....but I would love it strapless. I know personally cap sleeves or hanging sleeves would bug me so I could never get them!

i'd say strapless. im not a big fan of halters but if you plan on have that tan line for the wedding it might be safer -- or at least leave them attached until it gets closer and snip them off if your tanline is gone
i wouldnt add sleeves to the dress

I'm having cap sleeves and I can't wait... I think they look so elegant and sophiscated vs a strapless. The hanging sleeve would be nice too and go with the relaxed flow of the gown. I wouldn't go with the halter or sash though I don't think it works with the flow of the dress. Definately try on different styles with it before finalizing anything.

I love your dress.
I would do removable cap sleeves or removable halter. My freind had removable cap sleeves and it was nice but did not stay on all night! If you are thinking of removing completely that is a good option.

What a beautiful dress! I'd probably use it as a sash or eliminate it completely. I love the sleeveless look!

I will definitely get rid of this tan line by May. I guess I can have the seamstress play around before finalizing anything, but most likely I will remove them. Love the way Tori looked on her wedding day, too bad the wedding only lasted a hot second.
