MY EVE OF MILADY (Amalia Carrara) PICS: Strapless Yea or Nea?

My Amalia Carrara gown from Eve of Milady finally came in from Kleinfeld after almost 10 months! We’ve been together for over 8 years and have been saving up for our wedding in Rome, Italy. The only thing that’s more precious than my gown to me is my sweet FH and our future marriage that we've worked so hard on!

Please vote for whether my gown should be *STRAPLESS OR NOT*! (Not whether YOU like strapless or not but what would work best here.) I ordered it with custom-made detachable straps plus a wrap because of the cathedral restrictions in some churches in Rome. Now I found out that our location doesn’t require covered backs and shoulders for gowns. I also posted a photo of us and our cathedral so you can get an idea (our theme is royal and colors are burgundy and off-white.) Note: The first photo is of me trying it on for the first time.

PS: Sorry for the ridiculous copyrighting measures, but my friend just went through a legal ordeal where someone stole her professional photos and tried to sell an imposter gown with them!!! Therefore my pics have been embedded with copyright tracking software from Digimarc. Thanks for all of your feedback and I am so glad to be back on LI Weddings again because I've missed you all!

the dress and church are gorgeous. It was my dream to get married in Tuscany but I just wasn't up for the challenge of planning that type of affair. We even found a catering hall with amazing food outside Positano which was cheap as can be, but were concerned about the limited attendance. Anyway, I'm so happy that someone will get to realize that dream. KUDOS on the hard work.

i think its hard to tell, because we haven't seen the dress with straps.

Are they thick or thin? cap sleeved or not?

I think the dress is beautiful as it is, however, it would also depend on the type of straps, you can always attach if they are spaghetti straps or leave half on/off for certain pics.

Gorgeous dress by the way & we're doing a Med hm cruise & a couple is getting married in Tuscany during one of our day tours there.

I'd like to see it on you with and without straps to decide... why are you thinking of attaching straps? Is is for the look or the comfort?

What a gorgeous dress! I say no straps and def. not thin straps if you want straps because they would look to simple next to that dress.

Since you said they were detachable, why don't you try the dress on both ways and see which way you are more comfortable in.

It is a gorgeous dress and either way will look amazing. I think it just comes down to what you are more comfortable in.
