My face hurts

So as I'm sure many of you know I got into a bad accident last night..My face stings and I have cuts and scrapes all over my face and my wedding is friday! will this heal on time? any rememdies you know of..i just feel like I'm going to be such an ugly bride

OMG-I didnt know you were in an accident. I'm glad you are ok .

What about that mederma stuff..that might help.

You should be all healed by fri. You will also have makeup on. You will be gorgeous...don't worry.

Don't worry you will be a beautiful bride. The night of our rehersal our landlady locked the outside screen door and there is no key for it so Fh had to hoist me up to go through the window. I ended up getting huge black and blues on my arms and my leg. Thank god my dress covered my leg but my arms you could still see. Yet the day of the wedding no one noticed. I put coverup on them and they still showed alittle but I wasn't going to let it ruin my day. Don't worry. Try calling your doctor and have him reccommend somthing.

I agree with all of the above - go to a derm. Also - call your makeup artist and alert them and maybe they can make suggestions and/or prepare themselves to cover these things in a certain way.

agreed. oskana is great, just give her the heads up and she will take care of it.

girls..i saw my doctor..good and bad news..my doctor gave me extra strength cream for burns (the air bag burned my face) and she also told me what you all said..vitamin E! so I have been applying it like crazy...she said it probably won't clear completely before the wedding, but she said..it wasn't that bad at all..and makeup will cover it..thanks everyone for your support!

i would go to a derm and see what they say.

ALSO there is this make up that i see on tv all the time and it covers up scars. Ive seen before and after pictures and its amazing what it can cover up

its called sheer cover. I am almost sure this is the one. YOu see it on tv alot and shows women who cover up scars on their faces with this make up

I'm glad you went to the doctor, Kristen! The burns are probably more red right now too. In a few days I'm sure they will be less so. I'm sure Oksana will be able to cover them up for you. And, if anything, your photograph can photoshop if anything shows...which it probably will not. You will be gorgeous...I can't wait to see your pictures! Keep putting the Vitamin E oil on!

I didn't hear you got in an accident- Im glad you are okay!!!

Don;t worry about your face for the wedding- thats what makeup is for! Any makeup artists will know how to cover it up. Have you contacted yours yet and let her know what has happened?

my cousin got into an accident the day before her wedding. She was bruised all over and they did their best to cover it but you could still see it...and she was a beautiful bride!

Kristen, first thank god you're OK!!!

Also, my makeup artist once had to make up a MOB who had fallen a few days before a wedding in the winter she was COVERED in scratches and bruises on her face; she SWEARS by DERMABLEND for this type of job, so call your M/U artist ASAP and ask if he/she can use that!!!

Best of luck to you, but don't worry you will heal so much between now and the wedding!!!!!

oh my lord - I'm so glad you are ok! you need to focus on that for SURE - this really puts the meaning of a wedding in perspective.
First - you said cuts and scrapes - i wouldn't put ANYTHING on without speaking to a dermatologist! if these are superficial scrapes i THINK you could go right to a derm. you don't want to be putting lotions and potions on wounds before the skin is healed over them.

2- i LOVE what the other posters said about contacting your makeup person. let them know NOW> you may have to (or you could ask them to do it for you) use your own brushes etc for powder on areas that are exposed. certainly this seems like a good idea for others but MORE SO so you don't get an infection

honey go to a good dermatologist -your doc should be able to recommend one.

and remember .... YOU ARE GOING TO BE BEAUTIFUL on your day! there is NOTHING that could make you 'UGLY' nooooo way!!!!

Omg! I am so sorry to hear about your accident and pain. I called my sis who works in a derm's office and she said either neosporin or aquaphor will be the most effective and obviously ice any swelling. Your makeup artist will be able to cover most of the bruising and cuts. Try not to stress too much sweetie! You will be a gorgeous bride!!! Only 2 days to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!
