There was a thread on here... TMOAHTT The Mother of All Helpful Threads thread... There were 2 really really good/ detailed to do lists on there. I picked from each one to combine and make my own. It's been really helpful- one breaks it down by category... I would bump the thread, but can't seem to get it from work.

yeah it was posted by dolce19, i saw it before. It is very helpful

I've been using The Knots online checklist, because it saves it for you...but it is SCARY. Too much stuff

FH and i were doing our RD guestlist and i said we'll also have to ask people to do the readings and invite them and for him to come up with the readings(im not catholic so i dont even know them) but fh said he already knows which 2 he wants, WOW what a pleasant surprise hahahaha...And i think we know who we will ask

wow there are so many little things to do!!!

I feel a little better...looks like we all pretty much have the same things left to do....except....i still have to book a DJ!!!!

well today fh ordered one of the gm gifts for all the guys WOO HOO another thing down and tons more still left to do

we even picked our readers today

this is not in any particular order...

invitations - going this weekend!

make programs (lets see how ambitious i get)
order yamulkes for ceremony
donation to American Cancer Society (wedding favor)

eta: wedding bands and booking mini-moon! Don't know how I could forget those!

i have to finish that too, and am getting nervous. i need to figure out where we are staying in italy! did you decide where you're going yet for sure (i think you said italy/france?)

we're looking at italy...but alot of places still won't even have rates yet lol...with europe it works different than caribbean islands and all these popular resorts and all inclusive places...I want to do capri and amalfi coast. We also wanted to do monaco but instead might do just italy and go to more places...I also want to go to calabria since thats where fh's family is from and hes never been there.

We're going to Italy too... I've been working with Travel Tom and he told me has waiting on rates. I've been working with him since Nov. Just trusting him that waiting this long is OK and not going to hurt us. I'll keep you posted when we hear, which he said will be within the week or soo....

We are going to italy also.!!!!! I booked cause I saw the prices were not going down.

- Buy attendant gifts
- Go for the guys tuxes
- Pick out our wedding bands
- Florist
- Book place for RD (FFIL) get invite list for him
- Vellum paper for votive candles table # settings, menus and programs.
- Favors
-Hotels for out of towners

* Order place card holders.
*Order Table Number Frames (and make the table numbers).
*Order overnight bags/boxes for guests staying in hotel and fill with things.
*Finalize the readings (doing that this Saturday).
*Get the invites addressed from a caligrapher(already ordered them but waiting to receieve them).
* Send out the invites (Mid March).
Decorate program basket
Order bridal and parent gifts.
*Order favors & decorate them.
*Order Grooms Cake.
*Buy wedding day jewerly.
*Groom and Guys BP attire (doing this month).
* Make the petal Cones (already have the material)
*Buy Memoriam Candle.
*Select Music
*Select Menu
*Print and put together Menu's (already semi done-just need to finalize selections).
*Buy Memory Charm for Bouquet.
*Buy Garter(s)
*Change Name paperwork.
*Fittings
*Dye wedding shoes (already bought them).
*Meet with all vendors for final appointments.
*Obtain wedding license.
*Seating Charts.
*Pay remaining payments.
*Put together tips.

do we need to get started on the name change paperwork now???

I thought you apply after the wedding and after you get your marriage license which will be about a month or so later..
