My FH saved the day!

I have been asking FH to call his friend who is (was) going to be our officiant at the wedding. He called him about a week ago and nothing. I reminded him again and he calls me at work this morning to say I have good news and bad news. I always take the bad first so that the good will hopefully make up for it. So he says that I need to sit down. Now, my heart starts palpatating. I'm envisioning him in an ER or something with no legs. But, he tells me that his friend has gone AWOL. No phone, no email, nothing is answered. So I calmly say ok, if he magically reappears, I'm telling you right now, that he is out. I refuse to let him step in again. (We already cancelled an officiant because his friend really wanted to do it). So then he tells me the good news. He already called the officiant that we had cancelled and she is still free and very wiling to do the ceremony. So, he took it upon himself to fix a huge mess and let me know that everything is alright. I'm so proud

If it was up to me......yes...... but since it isn't.....no. I really don't mind. With everyone else going to be there..... his friend isn't going to bother me.
