Ugh, the dress is so pretty and I hate the way I look. I'm so depressed. I know it's my own fault and all that, but I have this huge boobage (not cleavage, but just endless boobs) and back and just bummed that I never took off the 50 lbs I planned on. I just wanted to be a size 20 or 22, not a 10, but not the biggest size David's Bridal makes. And yes, I'm wearing lots of armor under there.
Thanks for listening. PS My mom made them put straps on this dress, it was strapless, now it looks bathing suit like to me.

do not feel bad.. everyone wants to take off weight for the wedding and i think all the pressure of doing it makes it even harder!!!!!!!!!! you look beautiful and your dress does not look like a bathing suit!!!!!!!!! Your FH is gonna be in awe when he sees you! try and cheer up!!!!!!!

First off I dont think it looks like a bathing suit. I would take off the straps if you really dont like them tho-
Secondly,, you are beautiful and your FH wants you for who you are,,, not for the weight you would like to take off!!

You have no idea how i know exactly how you feel!!!!! I FINALLY just decided to accept myself at the weight I am right now for the wedding. Can't change it so why torture myself over it.

I think you look beautiful in your dress!!! And your Fh will be amazed when he sees how pretty you look. In my honest opinion though I would push the straps down. I dont think it looks like a bathing suit, I just think it takes away from the top of your dress. Maybe if it was the same color as the top and bottom of your dress it would be ok. Just the white straps stand out more.

I actually think you look really pretty! The dress sinches you in at the waist and gives you a really nice hourglass figure. As for the straps, they look nice, but if you don't like them, I would call David's back without telling your mom and have them removed... it's your day and you have to feel comfortable and beautiful.
