The lat 3 nights I had the same dream..that my dress came in, and as I put it on for the first time I'm not happy in it. And I want a different dress. AHHHHHHHHHHH!!
And I'm in love with my dress!! I just had it on 2 weeks ago, for a 'visit'.
What does that mean? What if that really happens? What does a bridal shop even do in that case??
I'm mildly freaking out over this..

ohhh no, its prob b/c you love it so much and just saw it not too long ago. dont worry.
i had my first wedding nightmare last night too. i was so upset b/c the entire day flew by all i remembered by the end of the wedding was standing in my house all dressed b4 leaving for church and then the end was i was trying to think of what happened....i'm guessing i just dontknow what to expect thats why i cant imagine it!

Thanks girls. It just felt so real which is why its scary. I mean, we don't have to decide on details until much closer to the wedding date....except the dress which you order so far in advance. I hope this doesn't make me a bridezilla..

No freaking out over this!!!!! It's totally okay, everyone has dress nightmares even if you love it, it happens sometimes, don't read too much into it. The night before I went to visit my dress last week I had a nightmare, but when I put it on on friday morning I was more in love with it than ever!!!!! Just relax and don't stress over it too much!!!

ive consistently been having dress nightmares....i got a new dress. call me nutso but i freaked. but i LOVE LOVE LOVE my new dress. even more than the last one.

These dreams are messed up! I just had my first a few days ago, and had another one since. Just so freaky!
I wouldn't worry about it. You're probably dreaming about the dress because it's on your mind so much. Don't let it become a 'self-fulfilling prophecy' type of thing - the dream says you don't like the dress, you dwell on the dream, the idea is now in your head from the dream that you don't like the dress, so you start fixating on it, and then everything snowballs and you decide you can't stand the dress.
Just try to focus on the fact that dreams don't always make much sense, and that you loved the dress when you bought it. I'm sure you tried on multiple dresses- there is a reason THAT is the one you settled on.
Good luck! Next time you have that dream, punch the 'dream' you in the face and tell her to get over it and stop playing around in your psyche.
