My Fridge died last night!!!!!

FH and I were woken up in the middle of the night by our refridgerator cranking this HORRIBLE noise.

We had to unplug it cause it was shaking and so loud!!!

We notified our landlord but all of our food is going bad

u can put what you can in the freezer and put a blanket over it to keep the cold in.

during the black out we did this and it saved alot more food then what we lost... .

yeah liek screw the milk.. but hte eggs and meats can stay longer if you pack them and DONT open the fridge!

what are the chances, this happened to us 2 weeks ago! we saved some food by bringing it to my moms fridge but had to throw away a lot which really suc ked...but, we had it repaired, turned out it had a gas leak and it ran out (i didn't know fridges had a gas supply back there even though it's freakn electric, shrug) it costs us 50 bucks to have the leak sealed and the gas refilled at a fridge repair shop, hth~

YEah... whatever you do do not open the fridge!!! it will pretty much stay cool, put you just can not let the cool out.....

Great idea though on putting stuff in the frezzer!

my unstairs neighbor hasnt lived here in over 2 years....

the valve BURST to the toliet and flooded all over the bathroom~! it was draining through our wall, and flooding out of our vanity!?

it was crazy.... our bathroom smells liek brick now

we are waiting for the celing to fall... its essentially the co-ops job to fix it .. they want to blame us or him.... !@?#!@# no one lives there

my parents are owners? i think... we are waiting for the celing to dry adn we are fixing it...

this man hasnt lived here for over 2 years, hes trying to sell, its not his fault.. its the valve ehh ... my parents dont want to bill or sue him its not 'that' serious..... maybe if he still lived there.. but its funny now that the house is empty for years.

it really depends...because honestly hes suppose to live there and make sure everything is in tip top shape..i dont know about the valve though....have ur parents check their by-laws., my by-laws say the shareholders are responsible for everything outside of the wall. Anything inside the wall is corporations responsibility., but it is in the toilet..hmmmmm is that inside or out?
