My friend is getting divorced

I am so sad right now and don't know how to help my friend. She called me last night to let me know that her and her husband filed for divorce last Thursday. Things had been rough for a while (although not known to any of us) and it all came crashing down when they were at a party a couple of weeks ago. Her and some of her friends were using a girl's phone to call another friend in Florida. When my friend got on the phone another call was coming in and it was her own husband! He was calling this other girl from the bathroom of the party - what a slime! Basically at that point it all came out that he was cheating on her with this other girl (my friend's friend). I am so sad for her and don't know what to do/say to help her...especially since I'm over here happily planning my wedding. Thanks for listening girls...I just feel so bad.

ugh, I hate hearing stuff like this. She must really be devastated. Her husband AND her friend, how awful.... All you can do is be there- just listen and give her hugs... and maybe take her out for some ice cream and shopping!

Omg, that's horrible!!!! I'm so sorry for your friend!!

I know it hurts now, but it's good that she's getting away from that creep. One day she'll find her true prince!
